Obituary for Charles K Hilton
Charles K. Hilton, 82, of Hummelstown, entered into eternal on Friday, January 11, 2019.
He was born in Kingsport, TN on March 19, 1936 to the late Charles S. Hilton and Ceola Mae Nunely.
He enjoyed playing the guitar, golfing, hunting, fishing, watching Phillies baseball and Penn State football, but his greatest joy came from the love of his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela Dawn Hilton and his sister, Betty Blaugh.
Charles is survived by his loving daughter, Sharon I. Radle of Hummelstown; two granddaughters, Melinda M. Radle-Barret (Matthew Barrett) and Melissa M. O’Brien (Zachary Smeltz); two brothers, James H. Hilton and his wife Sierra and Gary Hilton; a sister, Helen Morelock (Reese Morelock); five great grandchildren, Blake O’Brien, Dawson Barrett, Colton O’Brien, Shane O’Brien, and Hannah Barrett.
A tribute to his life will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 11:30 AM at the Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Middletown with the Rev. Britt Strohecker officiating. Viewing will be from 10:30 AM until the time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Children’s Miracle Network at www.childrensmiraclenetworkhospitals.org.
Burial with full military honors will be at Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
