Obituary for Aaron Mathias Peiffer Jr.
Aaron Mathias Peiffer, Jr., 93, of Middletown entered into eternal rest in his home surrounded by his loving family on April 19, 2021. He was born November 12, 1927 in Royalton, PA to the late Aaron Mathias, Sr. and Annie Elizabeth (Aderholt) Peiffer. He was predeceased by his loving wife Betty E. (Snyder) Peiffer.
He is survived by 3 daughters, Debra Keyser and husband Charles, Denise Gingrich and husband Edward, and Diane Zimmerman; 4 grandchildren, Erin Gingrich and husband Nathan, William Spaw and wife Danielle, Aaron Wood, and Kelsey Irvin and husband Joshua; 3 great-grandchildren, Betsy Gingrich, Ellie Spaw, and Mila Spaw. He was predeceased by a great-grandson, Ben Gingrich; and 4 brothers, Lloyd, Harry, John, and Warren Peiffer.
Aaron proudly served in the United States Army. He was employed by the Patriot News for 43 years. He was a faithful member of Middletown First Church of God. A skilled carpenter Aaron always had a project he was working on. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, music, and reading. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 26, 2021 at 2 PM at Middletown First Church of God, 245 W. High St., Middletown, PA 17057 with Pastor Kimberly B. Shifler officiating. A viewing will be held from 1 PM until time of the service. Burial will follow the services in Middletown Cemetery, Middletown, PA.
