Obituary for Alan L. Myers
Alan L. Myers, 67, of Middletown, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on April 4, 1955, in Harrisburg and was the son of the late George W. Jr. and Mary J. (Brandt) Myers.
Alan was a member of the American Legion Post 594, VFW Post 1620, Moose Lodge Post 410, Anglers and Hunters and the Rescue Home Association, all of Middletown. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to the cabin, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Alan was preceded in death by his brother, Sherm Myers.
He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Kimberly (Custer) Myers; a daughter, Trisha Shertzer and her husband Chris of Quaryville; a son, TR Leach and his wife Jen of Middletown; two brothers, George W. Myers III and his wife Mary of Highspire and Donald E. Myers and his wife Terry of Duncannon; six grandsons.
Memorial services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
