Obituary for Azalyn M. Neiter

Azalyn M. Neiter, 19, of Harrisburg entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at UPMC Pinnacle Community Osteopathic.
She was born July 31, 2000 in Harrisburg and was the loving daughter of Lisa Neiter.
Azalyn was a 2018 graduate of Dauphin County Technical School where she received her license in cosmetology.
She attended Susquehanna Valley Evangelical Free Church where she enjoyed participating in the youth group.
In elementary school Azalyn was a competitive cheerleader with PA Extreme, she also cheered for Susquenita Hawks and then joined the Central Dauphin Rams in middle school. She enjoyed traveling, everything about the beach, camping, horseback riding and dancing.
Azalyn was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Jeffery Chandler; paternal step-great grandfather, Warden Baysden.
In addition to her mother she is survived by a half brother, Todd Chandler; maternal grandmother, Anna Neiter; maternal great-grandparents, Wilbur and Anna Evans; paternal grandmother, Terri Spencer (David); paternal step-grandmother, Charlene Barbee (Kenneth); paternal step great-grandmother, Arline Baysden; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A tribute to Azalyn's life will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 12:00 PM at Susquehanna Valley Evangelical Free Church, 6433 Union Deposit Rd., Harrisburg, PA with the Rev. Matt Saxinger officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Azalyn's name to Susquehanna Valley Evangelical Free Church Student Ministry for camp scholarships.
The family has entrusted the Matinchek Funeral Home, 260 E. Main St. Middletown, PA with the funeral arrangements.
