Obituary for Barbara Ann Pristello (Matincheck)
Barbara Ann Matincheck-Pristello, 92, of Middletown, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at the Middletown Home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on February 23, 1928 in Harrisburg and was the daughter of the late Gabriel and Anna (Koncewycz) Matincheck.
Barbara was a member of Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Middletown. She enjoyed bowling, however, her greatest joy was the love she receive and spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband and several siblings.
She is survived by her loving children, James J. Pristello and his wife Georgeann, Phyllis Blazi and her husband Myles, Ronald L. Pristello and his wife Robin, Charles M. Pristello, Barbara A. Pristello and her companion Bernie; two brothers, Alec Matincheck and his wife Mary and Joseph Matincheck and his wife Sandy; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two close family members, Sis L. Leeper and Bettyann Kolaric; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing will be private at the convenience of the family.
All are welcome to the public graveside services at the St. Mary’s Cemetery, Middletown. This will take place on Monday, November 2, 2020 at 1:00 PM.
