Obituary for Belva May "Toppy" Pollington (Gallagher)
Belva M. “Toppy” Pollington, 78, of Swatara Township, passed away on December 28, 2022 at home with her loving family by her side. She was the loving wife of James J. “Jeff” Pollington.
Born in Royalton, PA on November 28, 1944, she was the daughter of the late James R. and Emma H. (Dupler) Gallagher.
Toppy loved to bowl and to socialize with friends. She enjoyed weekly dinners with friends and monthly luncheons with her high school classmates. Toppy was a caring friend to all and made friends wherever she went. She also enjoyed watching football and was an avid Seahawks fan. Toppy’s grandchildren were the light of her life.
Toppy is survived by her husband; her son, Frederick J. and wife, Heidi Condran; her daughter, Jody L. and husband, James Zavacky; her grandchildren, Dylan Condran, Ryan Zavacky and Kylee Zavacky and her brother, James ‘Jimmie” and wife, Chris Gallagher.
A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023, stop in between 1:00pm and 4:00pm, at Gilligan’s, 987 Eisenhower Blvd., Harrisburg, PA 17111.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (https://pancan.org)
