Bernice Glebocki, age 85, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2020 due to natural causes. She was born in Poland and survived the Second World War when she was a very small child. She immigrated to the United States in 1960 and settled in New Jersey. She married Joseph Glebocki, Sr. in 1961 who preceded her in death in 2011. They were married for nearly 50 years and lived in Manalapan, New Jersey for most of their time together. They loved to take care of their vegetable garden and entertain family and friends at their backyard barbecues.
Bernice was a loving mother and wife who loved to cook and was very proud of keeping her house clean and organized. She had an incredibly strong faith in God and her Catholic religion and was so excited when John Paul II became the Pope. She also liked to watch game shows, soap operas, and Saturday night television with her family. One of her proudest moments was when she passed the citizenship test and became a citizen of the United States and able to vote in the Presidential election.
For many years, Bernice worked at North American Reiss Corporation in Englishtown, New Jersey where she started as a line worker and rose to be a shift foreperson. She also volunteered countless hours with the Samaritan Center to provide food and other goods for the less fortunate.
Bernice is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Christine & Jack Adragna; her son Richard Glebocki; her son and daughter-in-law, Joe & Lori Glebocki; her grandchildren Richie Glebocki, Michael & Christopher Adragna, and James, Cameron & Addison Glebocki; as well as so many nephews and nieces. She loved to be surrounded by her family and touched everyone so deeply.
