Obituary for Bertha L. Reid (Huffman)
Bertha L. Reid, 91, of Middletown entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Vibralife Assisted Living Facility, Mechanicsburg.
She was born on December 16, 1929 in West Virginia and was the loving daughter of the late Ira and Theresa (McGorman) Huffman.
Bertha enjoyed shopping and going to McDonalds with friends.
In addition to her parents Bertha was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Reid; brother, Ira Huffman, Jr.; sisters, Elizabeth Nester, Thelma Crohn, Cutie Morris; granddaughter, Melissa Reid.
Bertha is survived by her son, Gregory Reid (Judy) of Highspire; grandchildren, Stacy and Jason Reid; great-grandchildren, Devon and Alicyn Reid; several nieces and nephews.
A tribute to Bertha's life will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Matinchek Funeral Home, 260 E. Main St. Middletown, PA with Pastor Christopher Navetta officiating. There will be a viewing from 2:00 Pm until the time of service on Saturday. We will be live streaming the service on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 3:00 PM.
