Obituary for Betty Welsh Bretz (Welsh)
Betty W. Bretz, 102, of Middletown, entered into eternal rest on April 9, 2023 at the Middletown Home.
Betty was born on June 9, 1920, the daughter of Fred Sr. And Ruth (Houser) Welsh.
Betty was retired from the Borough of Middletown. She was an avid fan of the Middletown Blue Raiders and was a member of the Middletown Historical Society.
Betty was preceded in death by her daughters, Becky Runyeon and Bobby Bright, her son-in-law Ray Runyeon and her seven siblings. She is survived by her 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and her son-in-law, Earl Bright, III.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Middletown Cemetery, 675 N. Spring St., Middletown, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any Middletown sports organization.
