Obituary for Betty Jean Davis (Davis)
Betty Jean Davis, 67, of Middletown entered eternal rest on Sunday, July 17, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born February 27, 1955, in Lower Swatara Twp and was the loving daughter of the late William Fredrick, Sr. and Elizabeth Ann (Fredrick) Davis.
Betty was a member of Geyers United Methodist Church, Middletown.
She retired after 30+ years as a Computer Technician with PennDOT.
Betty enjoyed crocheting, knitting, reading and computer technology. She would knit clothing for stuffed animals given to children as well as for veterans. Betty rescued dogs and was an avid animal lover. She was a member of the Middletown Moose Lodge 410.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her brother, William F. Davis, Jr.
Betty is survived by her sisters, Lily Bynon of Clarks Summit, Elizabeth A. Haffly of York; a niece and nephew; close friend, Carmen Velez; numerous fur babies.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 25, 2022, at 12:00 PM at Geyers United Methodist Church, 1605 S. Geyers Church Rd. Middletown, PA with Rev. Amy Rasor officiating. There will be a visitation from 11:00 AM until the time of service. The service will be live streamed for those who can’t make it to the church. Burial will be at Middletown Cemetery, Middletown.
