Obituary for Charles Eugene Ash
Charles E. Ash, 73, of Middletown, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at home.
He was born on May 8, 1946 in Danville, PA and was the son of Charles E. Ash and the late Miriam B. (Sweitzer) Ash. Charles was the loving husband of Rebecca A. (Olenowski) Ash.
He was a member of New Beginnings Church and the Glass Creek Hunting Club. Charles was the past president of the Lower Swatara Lions Club, a former baseball and softball coach and enjoyed hunting, singing and weight lifting.
In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by his son, Michael J. Ash and wife, Richael, of Nazareth and three daughters, Stephanie Giles and husband, Michael, of Wyomissing, Evette M. Graham and Dana L. Rhine and husband, Jeff, all of Middletown; his brother, Kenneth L. Ash and his 13 grandchildren, Michael, Jonathon, Christopher, Colin, Larae, Faith, Elizabeth, Kelsea, Sean, Aidan, Beran, Ciaran and David.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 12 PM in his Church at 630 South Union Street, Middletown with Pastor Britt Strohecker officiating.
A Viewing will be held from 10 AM until 12 PM, Saturday in his Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to “Mommy & Me Rescue, 610 East 5th Street, Mount Carmel, PA 17851.
