Cheri L. Umbrell, 46, of Marietta, PA entered into eternal rest on May 8th, 2020 at the Lancaster General Hospital where she succumbed to her battle with cancer.
Cheri was born on December 26, 1973 in Hershey, PA. She was the daughter of Stanton L. “Butchie” Garber and the late Dorothy A. (Dunn) Umbrell.
Cheri was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Harrisburg and also the American Legion Post 329, Elizabethtown and Moose Lodge 596, Elizabethtown. She enjoyed doing her hair and make-up and going out spending time with her friends and family. Cheri’s greatest love was her children and grandchildren. She loved taking selfies and getting her tan on with a Coors Light in her hand.
She is survived by her father, her daughter, Krista L. Maulfair (Jesse Jones) and her son, Dylan Maulfair, all of Elizabethtown, her grandchildren, Blaine L. Maulfair and Michael D. Delgado and her three brothers, Kristopher D. Umbrell, Michael Garber (Connie) and Brian Garber and also her very good friend of 14 years, Aaron J. Clish.
Private Memorial Services will be at the convenience of the family.
The family has entrusted the care of the Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. of Middletown to handle the funeral arrangements.
