Obituary for Dale Andrew "Tick" Sinniger Sr.
Dale A. “Tick” Sinniger, Sr., 92, of Middletown, entered into eternal rest, on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at home.
Dale was born October 1, 1930, in Hershey, PA and was the son of the late Andrew and Cora (Thompson) Sinniger. He was a retired electrician for Middletown Borough and president of his company, Dale A. Sinniger & Son Electric.
Tick was a member of St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church, Middletown and was a US Air Force Veteran. He was a life long member of the Middletown Fire Department, the past president of Middletown Fireman’s Relief for over 60 years, a member of the former Liberty Fire House and member of the Rescue Club. Tick is a past president and past member of Middletown Borough Council. He was a member of the Prince Edwin Spring Creek F&AM Lodge #486, Valley of Harrisburg AASR and the Zembo Shrine-Harrisburg. Tick was a past member of the Dauphin County Republican Committee. He also was a member of Columbia-Middletown Elks, Lodge#1074, Middletown American Legion, Post # 594 and Middletown VFW, Post #1620.
Dale is survived by his Son, Dale A. “Buck” Sinniger, Jr. and wife, Kathy; his daughters, Donna Green and Debbie Sinniger and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 am, Thursday, March 23, 2023 in St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 121 North Spring Street, Middletown, PA. A Visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm, Wednesday, March 22, 2023, in the Matinchek Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. at 260 East Main Street, Middletown and also from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, Thursday, March 23, 2023 in his Church.
Burial with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to his Church.
