Obituary for Dana Lyn Myers (Wetzel)
Dana Lyn Myers, 56, of Middletown, entered into eternal rest on April 10, 2022 in the Hershey Medical Center. She was born September 8, 1965 in Camp Hill, PA to Miriam M. (Casner) and the late Robert Harry Wetzel.
Dana was active in the Girl Scouts, from childhood through being a leader, including being a cookie manager. She was a former member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Millersburg. She was a professional photographer. Dana was very involved with THON as it was something very dear to her heart. Most importantly she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
She is survived by her loving husband Richard Scott Myers; 3 children, Nicole Slomski and husband Jeffrey, Erica Myers, and Zachary Myers; 4 grandchildren, Matthew, Lana, Evan, and Molly; and a brother, David Wetzel.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arangements have been entrusted to Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. 260 E. Main St., Middletown, PA 17057.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Four Diamonds at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital, 1249 Cocoa Avenue, Suite 115, P.O. Box 852, Hershey, PA 17033-0852.
