Daniel Andrew Schley, 66, of Carlisle, PA, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at the Manor Care Nursing Center in Carlisle.
Daniel was born on September 11, 1954 in Harrisburg PA, and was the son of the late Rev. Franklin B. Schley Sr. and Bessie M. (Poles) Schley.
Daniel struggled his entire life with ailments that cause him to be physically handicap and need care for the majority of his life.
In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by two siblings, Franklin B. Schley Jr. and Lu Vonn Helen Schley - Bowman.
He is survived by his loving siblings, a twin brother, David E. Schley of NC, a sister, Miriam Johnson and her husband Stewart, a sister, Lori Groves and her husband Robert, and Marie Schley. He is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 1, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the East Middletown Cemetery. There will be a livestream of this graveside on the Matinchek Funeral Home website, www.matinchekfuneralhome.com
