Donald G. Graham, 76, of Middletown, passed peacefully from this life to the next on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at home surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Mary M. (McGinty) Graham for over 57 years.
Don was born in Middletown, PA on June 6, 1944 to the late Donald H. and Elizabeth I. (Keller) Graham.
Don had several careers. He was a 33-year employee of Hershey Foods serving in the computer operations group. His second career was with the Middletown Area High School where he interacted daily with the young men and women of Middletown. Don would serve these same students as a chronicler of their lives as he photographed their important moments on the fields and courts, at proms, at pep rallies and other school activities.
Don loved spending time with his family and friends at his home away from home, Camp Middletown, Potter County. He spent countless days hunting, fishing, photographing and enjoying mountain life. He gave of his time to countless organizations including the Middletown Volunteer Fire Department, Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame and the Middletown Moose. He was a lifelong coach with stops including the Middletown Varsity Girls Softball team, Middletown Area Baseball Assoc., and many women’s fast pitch teams and girl’s travel teams. Mornings would find Don on his front porch with coffee in hand, reporting on the weather and waiting on unexpected guests to arrive. He enjoyed tailgating and attending Penn State games as a season ticket holder
