Donald B. “Woody” Wotring, 85, of Harrisburg, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 31, 2020 at home with his loving wife by his side. He was the husband of Nancy L. (Hoy) Wotring.
Woody was born in Harrisburg, PA on January 6, 1935 to the late Donald B. and Elizabeth A. (Bodenhorn) Wotring.
Woody was a proud US Marine Corps Veteran and a retired matrix department employee for the former TRW, Inc. He loved to work in his garden and his yard. Woody also enjoyed going out to eat and going to the casino with his wife.
Woody is survived by his son, Brian K. Patrick and wife, Colleen; his daughters, Donna Kullman and husband, Garth, Sandra Wotring and Sheila Rogers and husband, Andy; his brother, William Wotring; 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his four brothers, Thomas, Reuben “Pud”, Ronald and James Wotring.
Per Woody’s wishes no formal Services will be held. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
The family would like to thank all those with Homeland Hospice who helped take care of Woody.
