Obituary for Doris J. Redman (Manfred)
Doris J. Redman, 81, of Middletown entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born August 12, 1939 in Middletown and was the loving daughter of the late Furie F. and Stella A. (White) Manfred.
Doris was a member of the St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Middletown.
She was a strong warrior in her faith and would pray for everyone and anyone in need. Her faith and her family were the most loved and valued in her heart.
In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by two sons, Gary L. and John M. Redman; five siblings.
Doris is survived by her husband of 63 years, Lloyd H. "Buss" Redman; son, Dennis L. Redman (Joan) of Harrisburg; daughter, Bonnie Zedlovich (Larry) of Lewisberry; step-son, Donald Redman of Middletown; five siblings; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
There will be a public viewing Friday, December 18, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Matinchek Funeral Home, 260 E. Main St. Middletown. Due to the recent Covid19 restrictions the service will be private.
Interment will be at Middletown Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Doris's name to her church, 121 N. Spring St. Middletown, PA 17057.
