Doris Ellen Zimmerman, 83, of Harrisburg, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her family on February12, 2022. She was born February 1, 1939 in Middletown, PA to the late Frank E., Sr. and Sarah Ellen (Storner) Mader. Three brothers, Frank Jr., Ed, and Jack Mader preceded her passing.

Doris was predeceased by her loving husband, William C. Zimmerman, Sr. in 2008. She is survived by 2 sons, William Zimmerman, Jr. and Darryl Zimmerman and wife Sonia, and 2 granddaughters, Addison and Peyton Zimmerman.

Doris retired from Manley Regan Chemical Company where she worked in the accounting department. She enjoyed trips to the casino, baking, and card games among family. Doris was an avid sports fan following the Phillies and Penn State football. Her biggest passion later in life was enjoying time and following her beloved granddaughters. Most importantly she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
