Obituary for Edward Eugene Shrawder
Edward E. Shrawder, 68, of Middletown, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He was the loving husband of Kathleen M. (Barner) Shrawder for 45 years.
Ed was born in Bloomsburg, PA on December 2, 1951 to the late Alberta J. (Shrawder) Weikel.
Ed was a graduate of North Schuylkill High School in Ashland, PA. He received his bachelor’s degree in humanities at The Pennsylvania State University. Ed was also a member of the Penn State Alumni Association. He worked in the logistics industry in the Harrisburg area until his retirement in 2016. Ed loved hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. He spent much of his free time on the river, at the beach or in the mountains. Ed lived his life with enthusiasm and joy. His family, friends and love ones were very dear to his heart.
Ed is survived by his wife, his son, Brandon E. Shrawder and wife, Cami; his daughter, Melissa Shrawder Grant and husband, Brian; his brother, Richard Weikel and wife Cheryl; his sisters, Kathy Johnson and husband Allen, Dianna Hatter and husband Terry and Patricia Kerstetter and husband Steve and his three grandchildren, Jaimie Grant, Talen Grant and Julian Shrawder.
Private Memorial Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
