Obituary for Edwin Lee Adams
Edwin Lee Adams, 65, of Middletown, entered into eternal rest on November 4, 2020. He was born on December 11, 1954 in Johnstown, PA to Marlin E. and the late Nancy (Faux) Adams. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years Marsha (Cumming) Adams.
In addition to his wife he is survived by 3 sons, Charles Dowling, Jr. (Kerri), William Dowling (Teresa), and Joseph Dowling (Tiffany); a daughter, Heather Frontz (Michael); 15 grandchildren; and 1 great-granddaughter. He was predeceased by a daughter, Lori Dowling; and 3 siblings, Alan, Sue, and Mark.
Edwin proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was a member of Harrisburg First Assembly of God. He was previously employed by the Central Pennsylvania Blood Bank.
A memorial service will be held Monday, November 9, 2020 at 11 AM at Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 260 E. Main St., Middletown, PA 17057 with Pastor Terry Lamer officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until time of the service. Family and friends who cannot attend the services are invited to share memories, condolences, and watch the memorial service at www.matinchekfuneralhome.com.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in his honor to Matinchek Funeral Home to help pay his daughter Lori’s ongoing funeral expenses.
