Obituary for Edwin J. Shellenhamer
Edwin J. Shellenhamer, 93, of Middletown, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 17, 2020 at the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown PA.
He was born on August 9, 1927 in Hummelstown PA and was the son of the late Albert and Susan (Wert) Shellenhamer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Shellenhamer; two sons, David and Bryan Shellenhamer; four sisters, Helen Foreman, Beverly Deppen, Norma Whisler, and Faye Harman; two brothers Merle Shellenhamer and Albert Shellenhamer Jr.
Edwin is survived by his three children, Kenneth R. Shellenhamer of Middletown, Lora A. Laverty of Glenshaw, and Bart L. Shellenhamer of Middletown; a daughter-in-law, Judy Shellenhamer; a sister, Lois Weaver; a brother, Barry Shellenhamer; three grandchildren, Ryan Colatta, Shannon Dell and her husband Sean and Kyle Laverty and his wife Theresa; seven great-grandchildren, Dallas, Taylor, Aubrey, Henley, Devin, Aiden and Olivia.
A public viewing will take place on Monday, August 24, 2020 from 10:00-11:00 AM. Social distancing and other Covid-19 precautions will take place during this viewing. Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, the funeral service will be private after the viewing.
Burial will take place at Grandview Memorial Park, Annville.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the Evangelical United Methodist Church, 157 E. Water Street, Middletown or to Masonic Village Hospice, 98 Masonic Dr. Suite 101, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 .
