Eleanor Kay Gill, 74, of Royalton, entered into eternal rest on December 8, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on January 20, 1948 and was the daughter of the late Glendon and Eleanor (Horning) Yost.
She was a life-long resident of Royalton, a member of the Middletown Moose, and enjoyed going to the beach and the mountains with her family and friends. Above all she was a loving mother and grandmother to her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Gill, a sister, Helen Mae Yost and a brother, Robert L. Yost.
She is survived by her loving children, Walter G. Yost, Earl L. Hammaker husband of Mindy J., and Robert G. Hammaker husband of Valerie A.; three grandchildren, Rian A. Hammaker, Macie K. Hammaker and Walter G. Yost Jr.; as well as three step-grandchildren; Tristen Maxwell, Madison Pickle, and Jyllian Garman.
A tribute to her life will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at 11:00 AM at the Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Middletown. Viewing will be from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Hillsdale Cemetery, Middletown.
