Obituary for Elizabeth J. "Betty" Martin (Dupler)

Elizabeth J. “Betty” Martin, 95, of Elizabethtown, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 3, 2020 in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey. She was the widow of Kenneth R. Martin.
Betty was born in Florin, PA on April 13, 1925 to the late Clarence L. and Marthena (Wentz) Dupler.
Betty was a member of Evangelical United Methodist Church, Middletown, a life member of Londonderry Twp. Fire Company Auxiliary and former member of Women’s Missionary Society, EUMC. She was a retired Office Manager for the Lester W. Martin & Son Insurance Agency. Betty also worked for, and enjoyed for many years, the Middletown & Hummelstown Railroad as a book-keeper and ticket agent.
Betty is survived by her sons, Randall K. Martin and husband, Jack Kane, of St. Albans, VT, Rodger A. Martin, of Elizabethtown and Ronald S. Martin and wife, Molly, of Elberton, GA, her sister, Leona Appler, her niece, Denise Splain and husband, Dave and her great nephews, David and Michael Splain.
A viewing will be held from 10 AM to 11AM, Monday, August 10, 2020 in the Matinchek Funeral Home, Inc. 260 East Main Street, Middletown, PA. A. Private Family Services will be held following the viewing. Private burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery following the service. A public memorial service will be held at a later date, to-be-determined.
