Elizbeth Ann Shull “B”, 67, of Middletown, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 9th, 2020 in the Christiana Care Hospital in Newark, DE.
B was born August 17, 1953 in Gallitzin, PA the daughter of Carl J. Reed and Josephine G. Cairo Reed Hess. She was preceded in death by her Father Carl, Mother Josephine, Stepfather Gene N. Hess, her sister Jo Ann Potts and nephew Shawn Gene Reed.
B was a loving mother and wife. She was the voice of Shull’s Tree Service, Inc., as the secretary for so many years. She loved to drive to Delaware and spend her time at the beach home. She loved her “Dorals” and being surrounded by her family and friends. Her favorite things in the evening was to watch “Grey’s Anatomy and A Million Little Things” while eating her sea salt chips or ice cream like her Mint Klondike’s. She enjoyed BINGO and her slots “vibrant 7 slots”. She enjoyed hosting events and cooking on the grill. She was a ONE OF A KIND. She had friends from Potter County to Lower State of Delaware. B enjoyed car rides with the sunroof open with, Fleetwood Mac’s Greatest Hits playing and singing the whole way, with her grandson on the way to the beach. One of her greatest pride and joy was spending time with “her boy”/grandson Blake and loved going on golf cart rides while at the beach home.
She is survived by her loving husband, Edward H. Shull, Jr. of Middletown; her children, Nicole L. Remsburg of Middletown and Dan M. Quackenbush of Middletown; Her Sister, Carol Ann Reed of Mechanicsburg; one grandson, Blake M. Remsburg. B also had two stepsons, Edward Shull, wife Gina Shull and two grandchildren, Amanda and Brent Shull, Matthew Shull, wife Jessica Shull and three granddaughters, Morgan, Dayton and Sonoma Shull and grandson, Brady Shull. She had nieces and nephews and many out of state relatives.
A viewing will take place from 10:00 AM -12:00 Noon, on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at the Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Middletown. Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, there will be a private, invite only, memorial service immediately following the viewing. The graveside service will also be private due to the same restrictions.
