Evelyn M. Garber, 86, of Camp Hill entered eternal rest on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Oak Hill Nursing Home.
She was the loving daughter of the late Leland and Hazel (Barnes) Browning.
Evelyn was a machinist in linen services at Harrisburg Hospital for many years. Evelyn was the former owner of a bar in New Orleans called “Evie’s Place”.
She enjoyed reading, shopping and going to Casinos. Evelyn’s greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, John Garber, Jr; brother, Charles L. Moss; granddaughter, Alyssa Hanus.
Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Vicki L. Palmer of S. Carolina, Ginger R. Garber of Carlisle, Angela D. Cipolla (Vincent) of Middletown; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
The family has entrusted the Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. 260 E. Main St. Middletown with the funeral arrangements.
