Obituary for Frank A. Houser Jr.

Frank A. Houser, Jr., 82, of Middletown entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Hershey Medical Center surrounded by his family.
He was born on March 11, 1937 in Middletown and was the loving son of the late Frank A., Sr. and Anna M. (Welsh) Houser.
Frank is a veteran and served in the United States Navy during the Korean War.
He was an electrician by trait and worked for Lear Corp in Carlisle for many years.
Frank was a former member of Moose Lodge Post 410 and American Legion Post 594.
He enjoyed many things like fishing, golfing, playing cards and playing the slot machines. His greatest love was being with his family.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Houser; sister, Joan Walkinshaw.
Frank is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary K. (Manfred); sons, Frank A. Houser, III (Shellimar) of Halifax, Todd M. Houser (Jennifer) of Middletown; sisters, Susan Zeigler, Carol Kinnley, Shirley Sowers; grandchildren, Misty, Erin, Megin, and Todd "TJ" Houser.
A tribute to Frank's life will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Matinchek Funeral Home, 260 E. Main St. Middletown, PA with the Rev. Dr. J. Richard Eckert officiating. There will be a viewing from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday.
Interment will be at Middletown Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Frank's name to St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 121 N. Spring St. Middletown, PA 17057.
