Obituary

Fred Krom, Jr., 74, of Harrisburg, PA entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 5th, 2020 in the UPMC Carlisle Hospital, Carlisle. He was the loving husband of Terry L. (Wevodau) Krom.
Fred was born on November 8, 1945 in West Point, NY, the son of late Fred, Sr. and Maria T. (Evanoff) Krom.
Fred was a US Marine Vietnam Veteran and was a member of the Marine Corps League, Bob Smith Detachment #784 and the Hummelstown American Legion Post 265. Fred enjoyed spending time with his fellow Marine veterans and being a member of the honor guard. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.
Fred is survived by his wife, three daughters, Angela Ritter, of Shermans Dale, Kimberly Hall, of Camp Hill and Michelle Krom, of Harrisburg, his sister, Christine Cassel, 5 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
Services will be at 12:00 pm, Friday, July 10th in the Matinchek Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 260 East Main Street, Middletown, PA 17057. A viewing will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, Friday in the funeral home.
Burial with military honors will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Inc., Harrisburg, PA.
