Obituary for George A. Lynch

George A. Lynch, 69, of Middletown, entered into eternal rest on January 9, 2022 at the Hershey Medical Center. He was born February 6, 1952 in Altoona, PA to the late George A., Sr. and Mary Catherine (Gallagher) Lynch.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara A. (Clouser) Lynch; a step-daughter, Michelle McKinnon and husband Patrick; and 4 grandchildren, Zackary and Alana Hayman and Ethan and Noah McKinnon. He was predeceased by a step-son, Joseph Hayman.

George retired from Univar as a truck driver. He was vice president of the building, maintainance, and grounds for Middletown Anglers and Hunters Home Association as well as a member of Middletown Anglers and Hunters. He truly enjoyed working on the ranges and the general upkeep of them. He loved shooting his gun and his bow and had a passion for teaching children the skill of archery. George was also a member of the American Legion, The Rescue Fireman’s Home Association, and the Moose Lodge 151 Gallitzin, PA. He could often be found riding his motorcycle. His greatest love were his canine companions Chuck and Sammy.
