Obituary for Glenn Edward Hicks Jr.
Glenn Edward Hicks Jr., 85, of Middletown, entered into eternal rest on February17, 2022 in the Hershey Medical Center. He was born September 17, 1936 in Robertsdale, PA to the late Glenn Edward, Sr. and Ruth L. (Jones) Hicks.
He was predeceased by his loving wife, Pauline (Lucas) Hicks. Glenn is survived by 2 children, Glenn E. Hicks, III and wife Kim and Jean Arroyo and husband Cesar; 2 grandchildren, Glenn Hicks, IV and Cesar Arroyo, II; and a sister, Cheryl Hoerner and husband Rich.
Glenn proudly served in the United States Army. He was a faithful member of Middletown First Church of God. He was an avid PSU Football and Philadelphia Phillies fan. He enjoyed playing the guitar. Glenn was a kind man, always doing for and caring for others, be it a meal, a ride, or a few dollars. He never wanted recognized or acknowledged for his good deeds.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 11 AM at Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 260 E. Main St., Middletown, PA 17057 with Rev. Kimberly Shiffler officiating. Family and friends are invited for viewing from 10 AM until time of the service. Burial will follow services in Middletown Cemetery.
