Obituary for Grace N. Heisey (Nye)
Grace N. Heisey, 89, of Middletown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 3rd, 2021 in the Frey Village Retirement Center. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Marlin A. Heisey, with whom she was married for 66 years, along with numerous brothers and one sister.
Grace was born on February 16, 1931 in Hummelstown, PA and was the daughter of the late Ivan and Emma Nye.
She was a member of the Middletown and Swatara Kingdom Halls of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and retired from Amp, Inc. She enjoyed camping with her family in the earlier years and enjoyed spending time at their hunting camp in Bradford County with her husband and nephews and nieces in recent years.
Grace and Marlin were also Houseparents for Milton Hershey School in their younger years.
Grace is survived by her son, Ronald D. and wife, Cindy Heisey of West Henrietta NY,
and her daughter, Bonnie Malloy, of Middletown PA. She had four Grandchildren, Tiffany, Jeremy, Brandon, and Preston, and six Great Grandchildren and is also survived by two Sisters, Ruth Gettle and Annette Godwin. She also is survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
