Obituary for Harley A. Schmidt

Harley A. Schmidt, 26, of Middletown, entered into eternal rest on October 5, 2020 at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center.
He was born in Camp Hill, PA on March 5, 1994 and was the son of Michael Heller and the late Melinda (Schmidt) Heller.
Harley was a huge soccer fan, he enjoyed playing club soccer and played for Ferrum College fall of 2012. His favorite soccer team was Liverpool FC. He enjoyed watching sports, customizing cars, hanging out with family and friends and recently found peace being outdoors and fishing.
Harley was preceded in death by his mother, Melinda (Schmidt) Heller in August of 2020 and by his maternal grandfather, Richard Schmidt.
In addition to his father, Harley is survived by his brother, Jason Heller, his aunt, Tracy Gipe, his maternal grandmother, Helen Schmidt, and his paternal grandparents, Rick and Sylvia Heller as well as many other, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A private tribute to his life will be held on Monday, October 12, 2020 at the Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Middletown with Pastor Andrew Jordan officiating. There will be a viewing for all to attend on Monday from 10:00 AM until noon at the funeral home.
All are welcome to the graveside service at The Middletown Cemetery which will take place at 12:30 PM on Monday.
