Obituary for Harry Earl Hartman Jr.
Harry Earl Hartman, Jr., 85, of Middletown entered into eternal rest
surrounded by his loving family on April 21, 2021 at the Masonic Village. He was born March 7, 1936 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Harry Earl, Sr. and Bessie
(Swartz) Hartman. He was predeceased by his loving wife Faye L. (Young) Hartman in 2013.
He is survived by 3 children, Vickie DiSanto, Donald Hartman and wife Vicki, and Kathy Campbell and husband Timothy; 5 grandchildren, Albert DiSanto, Courtney Chortanoff, Angela DiSanto, Lindsay Yurovich, and Brandon Campbell; 4 great-grandchildren, Anna Chortanoff, Max Yurovich, Kade Chortanoff, and Oliver Gomes; and 2 siblings, Larry and Ronald Hartman.
Harry retired from the Federal Government, he worked for the United States Postal Service and was at one time a milk man. He was a Mason and member of the Prince Edwin-Spring Creek Lodge 486 F&A.M.. He was an avid Philadelphia sports teams’ fan as well as a PSU fan. Harry also was an active athlete playing hockey for the Jr. Bears, golfing, bowling, racing stock cars, and fishing. He was inducted into the Pennsylvania Bowling Hall of Fame. He enjoyed traveling especially to Disney and cruises. Most importantly he was a loving family man.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 5-7 PM at Matinchek Funeral
