Obituary for Helen Landis Houliston
Helen Landis Houliston, 102, of Middletown, passed away on October 29, 2020. She was the widow of Russell Landis and Andrew Houliston.
Helen was born October 10, 1918 in Middletown, Pa to the late Samuel and Lorene (Painter) Conrad. In addition to her parents and husbands, her stepdaughter, Judy Hill preceded her in death.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Sandra Taylor, her stepdaughter, Beth Kelly, sister, Doris Clave, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, three nieces and a nephew.
Helen was a member of First Church of God, Middletown and Middletown Senior Citizens. Helen enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. She loved fussing around in the yard and loved dogs.
A memorial Service will be held at 12:00 PM, Thursday, November 5, 2020 in Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. at 260 East Main Street, Middletown, PA. A visitation will be held Thursday from 11 AM to 12 PM in the funeral home.
The family would like to say thanks to the Staff of the Middletown Home and Courtyard Gardens NRC for their care and concern for Mom. They have been her family for the last few months.
Burial will be in the Hillsdale Cemetery, Middletown, Pa.
