Jane L. Shiley
Jane Leah Shiley, 86, of Londonderry Twp., entered into eternal rest on March 30, 2021 in the Kinkora Pythian Home. She was born on January 29, 1935 in Porter Twp., Pennsylvania to the late John Henry and Merle Irene (Reiner) Nelson. She was predeceased by her loving husband Edward Paul Shiley in 2016.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Donna J. Holroyd and husband Bruce, Jody M. Hershey and husband Randy, and Cathy Orris; 6 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Homer Nelson. She was predeceased by 3 siblings and a son-in-law, Brian Orris.
Jane worked for many years as a seamstress for Hesteco Dress Factory and was later employed by McDonalds. She was skilled at crafts and making ceramics and loved being outdoors, especially at the beach.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 10 AM at Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 260 E. Main St., Middletown, PA 17057 with Pastor Jonathan Bixler officiating. A viewing will be held from 9 AM until time of the service. Burial will follow the funeral in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
