Jean (Kinsey) Egenrieder, 95, of Middletown, peacefully passed away Wednesday December 23, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born July 14, 1925 to her late parents Elmer and Elizabeth (Espenshade) Kinsey. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, John W. Egenrieder, her sister Dorothee Griel, and her bothers Harold and Donald Kinsey.
She is survived by her sons Edward of Middletown and John (Pat) of Bainbridge, daughters Connie and Terry (Howard) Majzlik of Middletown, granddaughter Erin (Justin) Roller and their daughters Kyleigh and Kiersten, grandson Josh (Karly) Majzlik and their sons Beau and Krew, granddaughter Tameka Bowman and her children Jordan, Malachi, Seth, Josh, and Ella.
Jean’s greatest treasure was the time she spent with her family and her lifelong friends. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, bingo and 50+ years of card parties. Jean was an avid sports fan with her favorite sport being tennis and her favorite player “her Roger”. You could often find her along the sidelines of her children or grandchildren’s sporting events. She was their biggest fan!
