Obituary for Joan L. Matincheck (Stipe)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Joan L. Matincheck on April 7, 2020.
She was pre-deceased by her husband of 66 years, Stephen Matincheck Sr. She was born October 16, 1928 in Middletown, PA.
Surviving are her five children; Stephen Matincheck Jr. (Jane), Judy Mervine, Christopher Matincheck (Linda), Andrew Matincheck (Mamie) and Joanna Cain; Survivors also include 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Our deepest appreciation to Manor Care in Allentown, PA for the exceptional care she received while a resident in the Alzheimer’s unit.
A future service will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery for both mom and dad.
