Joseph Merrill Fisher, 62, of Highspire entered eternal rest on January 20, 2022, at his home.
He was born February 5, 1959, in Laurel, Maryland and was the loving son of the late Merrill and Margaret (Craski) Fisher.
Joseph worked at Central Auto & Truck Repair Center L.L.C, Highspire.
He was a social member of the Higspire VFW and St. Lawrence Lodge #13 Club. He was a frequent patron of The Stadium Club Sports Tavern where he also was an avid darts player. He enjoyed doing Civil War re-enactments with the 13th Confederate Infantry, and was a very active member in the North South Skirmish Association (NSSA) as well as the NRA. He was a volunteer Fireman for Penbrook Fire Co. for many years. Joseph owned his own business, Wolf Customs, customizing cars was a passion of his.
In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his brother, James “Jim” Fisher; longtime companion, Kathleen Blair.
Joseph is survived by his son, Sean Fisher (Chantelle) of Manheim; daughter, Billie Weaver (Wayne) of Enola; sister Cathy Chahrour (Ahmad); grandchildren, Chloe, Isabella, and Finley Weaver; sister-in-law, Mary Fisher; nieces, Laurel Fisher, Andrea Johnson, Zahra Tennis; nephew, Ramsey.
A celebration of Joseph's life will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 3:00 PM till 5:00 PM at The Stadium Club Sports Tavern, 61 2nd Street, Highspire, PA. Please feel free to stop in and share your stories and memories.
