Obituary for Judy Irene Reid (Rittner)
Judy Irene Reid, 67, of Highspire entered eternal rest on Friday, October 21, 2022, at her home. She was the wife of Gregory Reid to whom she shared 46 years of marriage.
She was born December 25, 1954, in Harrisburg and was the loving daughter of the late Warren O. and Marian (Mata) Rittner.
Judy enjoyed cooking, watching all sports, especially Eagles, Phillies, and Steel High. She was the grandma to the Steel High Varsity Football team. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandson, and family.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Reid.
In addition to her husband, Judy is survived by her daughter, Stacy L. Reid of Highspire; son, Jason Reid; brother, Thomas J. Rittner (Lena) of Harrisburg; grandchildren, Alicyn N. Reid, Devon M. Reid; great-grandson, Ashton J. Reid.
A tribute to Judy’s life will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. 260 E. Main St. Middletown, PA. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg.
