Obituary for Kathryn Marie Collier (Evans)
Kathryn Marie Collier, 63, of Highspire entered eternal rest on Sunday, July 17, 2022, at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital. She was the loving wife of Brian Collier for 23 years.
She was born on December 26, 1958, in Johnstown and was the loving daughter of the late Carl Richard, Sr. and Kathryn E. ((Dabbs) Evans.
Kathryn worked for Kmart as a cashier and enjoyed her job and her co-workers.
She enjoyed many things such as listening to and reading Joyce Meyers, watching Hallmark Christmas movies, crocheting, anything pumpkin spice, and thrifting. She was an avid Cowboys fan. Her greatest love was spending time with her fur baby pup Brianna and her best friend/husband Brian.
In addition to her parents Kathryn was preceded in death by her sisters, Bonita Fisher and Sandra Kreashko.
In addition to her husband, Kathryn is survived by her sons, Justin Wolfe (Stacey) of Grantville, Timothy Wolfe, Jr. of Grantville; daughters, Coleen Smith of York, Tonya Ondeck (Michael) of West Hanover, Elizabeth Snavely (Robert) Harrisburg; brother, Carl Evans (Jennifer) of Shermansdale; sisters, Deborah Smith of Harrisburg, Cynthia Shiffler of Harrisburg; thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Eartha Matthews; aunt-in-law, Carrie Patterson.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Churchville Cemetery, 51 S. Harrisburg St. Steelton, PA with Bethany L. Malloy officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Kathryn’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
The family has entrusted the Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. 260 E. Main St. Middletown, PA with the funeral arrangements.
