KC was my cool older cousin. He was always kind and welcoming, making time for his kid cousin even when I know I must have been pretty annoying. I remember playing with him in the basement of our grandparents house, listening to all his wild (at least wild for me) stories about his life. I loved that, and I loved him. We'd just recently reconnected over our mutual love of games, I'd even begun to watch his video game streaming. I wish we'd had more time to share that hobby together. I'm stunned by the loss. Mary Ellen, my heart goes out to you and your family.

I would like to give my condolences to Sue and family. When your parents die you’re an orphan and when your spouse dies you’re a widow. When your child dies there’s nothing anyone and yourself can call you. We don’t have a label you just miss them. KC was born 29 days before my son. They played together and got to know each other and shared many of life’s early wonders. They were each joined by younger bratty sisters whom they both tolerated and loved. I have such good memories of those times. My son (Matthew) left us ten months before KC. My memories of them as youngsters playing and exploring are strong and they will be playing in my mind forever. KC was so generous with his loving heart and I’m very grateful that he could share part of it with me. I know he gave to others freely so those of us that knew him continue to carry part of his loving heart with us forever. I feel blessed to have known him. Love to you and all that were touched by KC. Uncle Ragnar
