Leona J. Hahn, age 101, of Middletown, Pa entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Middletown Home. Leona was born on November 27, 1918 to the late George and May Davis.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Martin Hahn Sr. (age 48).
In addition, Leona was preceded in death by three sisters, Violet, Mary Emma and Ethel May and four brothers, Jack, Ralph, Grant, and Irvin.
Leona is survived by three children, Joanne Gotshall (John), Martin Hahn, Jr. (Carol) and Gary Hahn (Brenda).
She is also survived by seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Leona retired from the Hershey Foods with 35 years of service.
She was a long time member of the Riverside Chapel and American Legion. Her greatest pleasure was time spent with her family. On a regular basis, she would cook lunch and make her famous chocolate cake and peanut butter icing in an effort to attract any family members available.
Leola's flair for fashion and her outgoing personality provided love and memories to all who knew her.
She also enjoyed shopping, bingo, going to the casino and watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.
The family would like to thank Pastor Dan Gilbert and the Middletown Home staff for providing love and care, especially during the recent extreme conditions.
Do to the restrictions of Covid19 services will be private and the convenience of the family.
Interment will be on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at 12:00 PM at Middletown Cemetery, 675 N. Spring St. Middletown, PA with Pastor Dan Gilbert officiating. All are welcome to attend.
The family has entrusted the Matinchek Funeral Home, 260 E. Main St. Middletown, PA with the funeral arrangements.
