Obituary

Linda E. Roberts, 70, of Middletown, entered into eternal rest on April 8, 2020 at the Harrisburg Hospital after a courageous battle with Covid-19.
She was born on March 31, 1950 in New York, NY and was the daughter of the late Harold and Eleanor (McCarroll) Roberts.
Linda’s greatest joy was her family. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, siblings and cousins. She would do anything and everything she could possibly do for her family and friends. Linda truly had a heart of gold and was loved by all. She was her family’s hero!
She is survived by her three children, David T. Schweigler (Angela) of Cordova, TN, Tammy M. Bricker (Dave) of Palmyra, and Michael W. Schweigler (Brittany) of York; five siblings, Bruce, John and Jeff Roberts, Joanne Bloch and Jackie Frontera; six grandchildren, Eden Wilson (Joe), Christopher Schweigler, Clint Bricker, Liam Schweigler, Lillian Schweigler, and Logan Schweigler; one great-grandchild, Addison Wilson as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Due to the current restrictions on funeral services, the family wishes to hold a memorial service for all friends and family at a later date. The service information will be published once we know exactly when the services will take place.

Nelson and I just learned of Linda’s death today after we had heard of another Brownstone member’s untimely passing. We are shocked and devastated. Linda was always so kind to us and often sat down to talk to us frequently when we were there. To say we will miss her is an understatement. But I know it pales in comparison to what those very close to her are experiencing. We extend our love and condolences to all of her friends and family.

I am so sorry for her family’s loss. I got to know Linda from the Brownstone. Linda and my Mom became friends many years ago and would always make sure to catch up when they saw each other. My mom passed away this past December and Linda took the time to attend my Moms funeral.

My heart aches for your family.

We are so sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. We have asked for her to be our waitress at the Brownstone for nearly 20 years. Our hearts are saddened.

To the family of Linda. I am so very sorry to hear about Linda's passing. I worked with her at Penn State Harrisburg and had recently seen her at Brownstone the first week of March. She seemed so happy. May she rest in peace. Remember all the good times you had with her.
