Obituary for Lorraine Mitchell
Lorraine Faye Mitchell, 80, of Middletown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 26, 2020. She was born March 10, 1940 in Middletown, PA to the late Malcom and Evelyn (Meinsler) Barge.
Lorraine retired from the State Treasury Department after 25 years of dedicated service. She was an avid reader and loved animals, especially dogs.
She is survived by 3 children, Floyd Mitchell and wife Deanna, James Mitchell and wife Wendy, and Cheryl Fleisher; 4 grandchildren, Andrew, Kim, Tiffany, and James; and 3 great-grandchildren, James III, Alexis, and Alyssa; a sister, Linda Lasik; and 6 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Larry Barge and Russell Librandi.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family and entrusted to Matinchek Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 260 E. Main St., Middletown, PA 17057. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.matinchekfuneralhome.com.
