Obituary for Marcia Dawn Brown (Hopple)
Marcia Dawn Brown, 53, of Middletown, entered into eternal rest on March 7, 2021 at the Hershey Medical Center. She was born February 23, 1968 in Williamsport, PA to Donald J. Hopple and Judith A. (Walton) Hinkle.
She is survived by a son, Dalton J. Brown and fiancé Xena Burkett; life-partner, Paco Morris; a brother, Donald “Scott” Hopple and wife Bonnie; a daughter-in-law, Sarah Rothermel; k-9 companions, Muffin, Lakota, and Bella; and a grandson on the way, Dylan Ray Robert Brown. She was predeceased by a son, Dylan Ray Brown; and step-father, Jim Hinkle.
Marcia was employed by Faulkner Subaru and spent over 15 years as a member and employee at Middletown Anglers and Hunters. She had dreams of opening her own bar down by the river. She enjoyed going to the casino as well as traveling, especially to St. John’s with her friends.
Family and friends are invited to a public visitation on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 2-3 PM at Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 260 E. Main St., Middletown, PA 17057. Due to Covid regulations, services will be private, but may be watched livestream at 3 PM (3/19) or any time following the services on www.matinchekfuneralhome.com and going to Marcia’s memorial page. There will be a time of fellowship and remembrance on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 5 PM at Middletown Anglers and Hunters, 1350 Schoolhouse Rd., Middletown, PA 17057.
