Margaret E. DeGrange
Margaret Elizabeth DeGrange, 76, entered into eternal rest on March 4, 2021 in her home. She was born on June 30, 1944 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Robert Carl and Marion Laura (Burg) Friedrich. She is survived by her loving husband James Alvie DeGrange.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, James R. DeGrange and wife Joanne; 4 grandchildren, Bradley DeGrange, Nicole Bowman, Kimberly Slaughter, and David Chiveral; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 sister-in-laws, Lillian Anderson and Becky DeGrange; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Margaret was a faithful member of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was employed by Klein’s Chocolate Company and later Penn State University. Margaret was a member of the Londonderry Lionettes. She enjoyed sewing, calligraphy, and making crafts. Most importantly she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at noon at Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 260 E. Main St., Middletown, PA 17057 with The Rev. Dr. J. Richard Eckert officiating. A viewing will be held from 11 AM until time of the service. Burial will follow the funeral in Middletown Cemetery.
