Obituary for Marie Elizabeth Caplinger (O'Rourke)
Marie Elizabeth (O’Rourke) Caplinger, 69, of Middletown, PA entered into eternal rest on May 17, 2021 in the Hershey Medical Center. She was born February 27, 1952 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Francis Charles and Florence Bridget (Young) O’Rourke. She is survived by her loving husband, Roger William Caplinger.
In addition to her husband she is survived by 3 daughters, Kristine Marie Klose, Jennifer E. Jovic and husband Igor, and Samantha J. Barnes and husband Jason; 5 grandchildren, Nevaen, Bella, Kyla, Luka, and Mateo; and a sister-in-law, Ruth O’Rourke. She was predeceased by a brother, Francis O’Rourke.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 24, 2021 at 11 AM at Seven Sorrows of the BVM, 280 N. Race St., Middletown, PA 17057 with Rev. Ted Keating as celebrant. Burial will be private at a later date. Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 260 E. Main St., Middletown, PA has been entrusted with the services.
