Obituary for Marjorie L. Schmidt
Marjorie L. Schmidt, 80, of Hummelstown, entered into eternal rest suddenly at her home.
She was born on September 24, 1942 in Middletown and was the daughter of the late John and Marjorie (Knepper) Schmidt.
Marjorie was a member of Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Middletown. She enjoyed singing in the Church choir and making Easter eggs every spring for the Church fundraiser. Marjorie also enjoyed all things Disney and bowling in weekend leagues.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers; John Schmidt Jr.(Jack), his wife Nora And Richard Schmidt (Dick).
Marjorie is survived by her loving daughter, Michelle Lowry of FL and son-in-law Jason Lowry; along with brother, Joseph Schmidt (Darlene), sisters Nancy Brought, Trudy Sass, Polly Parsons (Alan), sister-in-law, Helen Schmidt (Richard), and Susan Dussinger, along with many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 280 N. Race St. Middletown with the Rev. Fr. Timothy Sahd as Celebrant. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM until the time of Mass at the church.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
