Obituary for Marlin Eugene Mellinger
Marlin E. “Mell” Mellinger, 85, of Lower Swatara Twp. entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at home. For 58 years, he was the loving husband of Carole A. (Bailey) Mellinger
Marlin was born July 15, 1937, in Carlisle, PA and was the son of the late Irvin and Helen (Snyder) Mellinger.
Marlin was a retired design engineer for the former AMP, Inc. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles #1299, Carlisle, PA. Marlin was an avid bowler and loved roller staking, skating well into his 70’s. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.
Marlin is survived by his wife, his daughter, Dixie L. and husband, Gary Lebo, his great grandchildren, Paige, Blake and Zackery Borawski , his sister, Margaret Myers and his nephew, Lester Myers.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, September 2, 2022 in the Matinchek Funeral Home, Inc. at 260 East Main Street, Middletown, PA. A visitation will be from 1 pm to 2 pm, Friday in the funeral home.
