Obituary for Mary A. Casper (Super)
Mary A. Casper, 94, of Middletown entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Hershey Medical Center.
She was born August 18, 1925 in Mahanoy City, PA and was the loving daughter of the late John and Helen (Dudra) Super.
Mary was of the Catholic faith and attended Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Middletown.
She enjoyed going to bingo and the casino, but her greatest love was her family. She was a warm, wonderful, caring person, always remembering not only her family’s birthdays but also their spouses. She has left her family with so many fond memories and will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, William John Casper; her daughter, Patricia Ann Kauffman; and her sister, Julie Super.
Mary is survived by her son, William John Casper and his wife Catherine of Mechanicsburg; daughters, Nancy Marie Casper and her husband Stephen Paul Mahinka of VA, Kathleen Helen Gaito and her husband Stephen Vincent Gaito of NH; brother, Stephen Super of Allentown; grandchildren, Tara, Alexa, Scott, Michael, Alex, Danielle; great-grandchildren, Jamison, Madelyn.
Due to the current restrictions, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
The family has entrusted the Matinchek Funeral Home, 260 E. Main St. Middletown, PA with the funeral arrangements.
